DO it!

Saw them on one of the blog, and on pinterest. How true....

THEY are talking to ME!

Update...

OOh, i have abandoned my blog for months! Geesh, that's when u have another kid to watch, and also i blame it on facebook too! hehehe

Naomi has started going to kindy, and she loves it! I thought I could have a peaceful time with the little one for that few hours but actually no. It's even busier! Rush out in the morning with a not-enough-sleep baby and come home with houseworks waiting, no fun! I barely sit down and rest then have to rush out and pick the kiddo. Didn't expect that! bahhhh

Leah starts talking, she calls everyone is the family especially mummy clearly. She is never an easy baby since birth and now it seems worse than before after we move back from China. Sigh...

So my new year resolution will be as usual, lose weight. and i guess it will never happened to a lazy bum like me. So i should have another one instead, spend less! Naomi's extra curricular activities fees are really freaking me out! Gosh! I must spend less or we will eat grass lor...

TV during meal time?

I am not a mother who against TV, in fact, I am a lousy mum who always let my kid watch TV until my kid know almost all the animation characters....

However, I will never allowed my kid to watch TV, at the same time, eating. This is definitely a NO NO to me. No matter how Naomi refused to take the solid food last time, I didn't give in by letting her eat in front of the TV.

Until today, Naomi only eats on dining table, and she always turn off TV whenever I say meal time which I think is a very good practice, kid gets to see what she is putting into her mouth instead of some mouse and duck and dog's faces on TV.

However, today at Ikano Power Centre, I saw a parents with a maid and a about 3 years old boy were eating at one of the food place. And to my horror, the maid was feeding the boy with a portable DVD player ON!!!!! Is it necessary??? He won't die skipping one meal if he doesn't want to eat! I was so shocked!

Do parents need to go to that extend to spoil a child? Bringing a portable player everywhere you go? I can understand if the player is only for parents to get some peaceful time to get to have a gathering session with relatives or friends which normally last longer. But this is only a lunch!!! I think this is nut. I am sorry if you are one of the parents like this reading this post, yes, I think you are nut.

a lil update.

Last post on march.... my my my...

Ok, I blamed it on China, because they block the direct access to blogspot, and proxies aren't working all the time... so on and so on... and now back in Malaysia, no excuse for me to not updating about my little ones....

I am now at my 33 weeks, yeah, another 7 weeks to go. This pregnancy is definitely more tiring than the previous one. Maybe I have a going-to-be-3 toddler to take care of and no maid. I am lucky to have my mum around, or else, I will probably go insane already. I really salute those SAHM with 2-3 kids and no helper, you are really super mum!

I am very much enjoying the baby shopping though. All the the tiny clothes, mittens, booties, beanies, toys.... it's nice to shop and it's even nicer when i can shop with valid reason. hehehehe...

ok, Happy Merdeka Day everyone. Time for me to go kaikai somemore. will update again later. MUAKS for those who still come visiting me. I really appreciate it.

tired.....

It's been a long time since my last post.... lazy... very lazy. And busy too, plus all the sickness. It was chaotic.

Sister and Trinity came back from Aussie for visit. And we were busy traveling to visit our relatives and "sight-seeing". And just 1 day before they left, Naomi was having stomach virus. On and off till now. Poor baby. And after 2 days, me got the same problem but I was fine in just 2 days and now, my right neck and shoulder are killing me. Went to see a Chinese Sensei and got myself some very very very horrible medicine. Argh!

Merry Christmas! :)

It was a very quiet Christmas this year for us. However, Naomi was still happy because "Santa" came over....

On the Christmas Eve, we prepared a glass of milk and a piece of cookie for Santa. Naomi put the cookie at the spot she wanted Santa to drop the presents. We did that about 8:30pm... and from then until before she slept, she kept checking out the cookie and the milk. Until I told her that Santa will only come when you are sleeping... haiyor. Then of course when the lil girl had gone to sleep, mummy will have to drink the milk and eat the cookie lar!

Then the next day when she woke up, she actually forgotten about the cookie and the milk until I reminded her today is Christmas, Santa should have come last night... Then only she quickly ran out to the living room and she was so happy to see presents! She actually screamed :" Santa finished my cookie and milk milk!" and "Thank you Santa for the presents!"

There were 3 presents, I told her Santa gave her 1, daddy and mummy gave her one each... I wonder if she will think how come all the wrapper were the same... muahahahahaha

No more spending..

As Huisia said.... it's time to save up.

Papa Sze has been telling me the company has to cut down all the costs, probably salary too. He is very stressed out, though he tries very hard not to show us. Salary cut will impact us a lot, as we are single income family, we have a lot of commitments! And without any backup, i cannot imagine if Papa Sze got retrenched (choi !). And I pray very very hard each night.

Now,
we can't go out dining more than twice a week.
we can't buy anything extra, no more toys for naomi, no more pretty outfit for her, no more fun dazzle/kidsport and gym (poor baby...)
we can't go out more than twice a week (to save on cab cost)
we can't buy too much of imported food(those are expensive!)

As a foreign worker, we were given a very cosy place to stay, everything is paid off. So, stay home more, will definitely save some money.

And internet, will be my closer friend.... books and DVDs, will be Naomi best friends too... :P

Thanks mummy dearest!

I've been too pampered!

My maid has gone home from KL to Indo...and I am so helpless... Mum, thanks for being around. I am very grateful for my mum to sacrifice herself, her husband(my dad is alone in Ozland with my sis) to help me out when everything is so chaotic especially when Naomi is having fever now, again! Oh mum you have to come with me to ShenZhen. It is so good to have someone around when sh*ts happened!

So no maid, I have to do the house chores, ok -lar, my mum helps half of them... hehehe, thanks mummy dearest, you are the best!

I am not sure if I will do the same to Naomi though.....

Mummy got a hair cut

I am very very very sick of all the hair on the floor, on the bed, sofa.... basically anywhere I was. Yeah, those are my hair, long and not-too-black. After keeping long hair for a year, I decide to have my hair cut short yesterday and, "ta-da", me with short hair again.

And it feels so good... I am thinking of cutting it shorter...

Papa Sze has left....

Papa Sze has left to Columbia today... So sad.

Naomi was asleep while he left... so she didn't send her daddy off. When she woke up, she called for "daddy", oh my, my heart ache and my nose turned red and my tears....

I miss Papa Sze, so much....

Moody sky....

It is raining everyday in Singapore. I can't take Naomi out to the park, the pool, the zoo and it's hard for me to take her out shopping too as the taxi queue is always soooo long. And, no barbeque at the pool side too.

Naomi was a bit over excited when we have to cancel the barbeque at the pool side and all gather around inside the house. The tiny condo with about 20 people inside, Naomi was just so happy. So happy that she refused to go to bed. So happy that she over tired herself. So happy that she didn't sleep till 1am. So happy that mummy has to take her out on a car ride at 12:30 in the morning in order to get her to sleep. So happy that she woke up again at 5am to watch Sesame Street. So happy that she fell asleep again at 5:30am. So happy that she woke up at 9am and pretend nothing ever happened last night.

The weather, so miserable.... me too.

Racism....

Here comes the season for the adults to be broke. CHRISTMAS! So, I went to Toy'R'us for shopping today since they are having good deals and rebate vouchers. Great saving.

While I was picking up presents, there was a mother and a 3-4 years old son beside me. Can't help overhearing their conversation, both in broken English....

Son: mummy, I want buy two of tis toi.....
Mother: Cannot lar, onli one onli, you tink I make money ar?
Son: I want twoooo lar...
Mother: You don know listen is it? I say onli one ar, if you behave like tis somemore, I let the Indian take u away ar, I tell you. Evelitime like tis, next time don't want take you out anymore. Evelitime also make me angly.....

While the mum was scolding the kid, so happened there was an Indian couple beside, and they were looking at her. I could tell the Indian couple wasn't happy at what she said. She stood up and saw them, acted nonchalant and walked away.

What kind of teaching is that? Racism? Crazy woman. If so happened You(the woman) is reading this blog here, please, you should be ashame of yourself!

Mummy's new toy...

Here, my wedding annivessary present from Papa Sze, a MacBook! How wonderful that I can be online anywhere in the house finally, it does make my blogging life much easier!

Internet Down....

Broadband service has been down at my place for many many days.... My life almost ended on the day the internet "died". The management people said the service will only be back probably in another week or two... I couldn't stand it anymore!!! So here I am in Starbuck Coffee writting this short post with Naomi screaming in the pram. Gosh, people must be thinking this mummy's business must be real important that she could ignore her baby's scream.

So peeps, I know it's rude not to reply comments. See, I am not doing it on purpose. Will do all the tags and blog hopping again when the internet service back alive....

:).

Family reunion....

The whole family were here in Kuala Lumpur for Nicole's (Trinity's mum, my sis) birthday. Yeah, it was chaos again with 1 kid, 1 toddler and 2 babies. Naomi got a bit too excited as well that she slept very very little. Ahhhhh, but the happiest person would be my parents, to see all their kids and grandchildren together again. It's good to be together. :) We had great time and very very good food, shark fin soup, lobster, prawn..... Thanks to you, my brother in law. :P

Bad service...

I went to pick up Papa Sze the other day from KLIA airport. I had to collect the tickets for Papa Sze to return to Bangkok, so I brought along Naomi and waited there at the ticketing office at 3rd floor. When I took my number, 8 people in front of me. Fine, first come first served.

After half an hour, Naomi started to lose her patient, she didn't want to stay put there anymore, kept screaming... It was ridiculous, there were so many people, yet there was only 1 counter for economy class ticketing service, and there were a few of them standing behind, holding some paper talking for half an hour there... They should see so many of us were waiting; me with a baby; an old lady on a wheel chair; another injured lady on a wheel chair; and others who were so eager to get a ticket!

After 1 hour and 15 mins, even Papa Sze had come out, finally my turn, and you know what? The lady told me that, "sorry, server down." I got so pissed off and asked if there's anything she could do. You know what that b*itch said,"nothing I could do lar, your nasib tak baik(bad luck)." then she walked away. What the f**k??????

Seriously, MAS need a really good hospitality training for their ground crew. Their cabin crew might be nice, definitely not their ground crew. Why still fly with MAS? Just because I need to collect frequent flyer points....

Arghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Lots of people waiting...

Empty counters...

My Naomi....

After coming back from Bangkok, Naomi is very clingy to me. She wants me to be with her all the time just like the time we spent in Bangkok.... but I am trying to make her get use to my maid, again.

And frankly, I quite miss the time we had in Thailand, just the 3 of us, very nice, with no distraction of TV program(half of it in Thai and the rest, not interesting) and internet access(didn't bring along my laptop). I realized that I was able to give full attention to Naomi! And I couldn't "push" her to the maid too. I played with her, told story(not that she understood, or maybe she did), sleep with her on the bed etc... Naomi was very happy to have mummy to be with her all the time I guess. She became so clingy to me now....

She will be kicking her legs and smiling with her arms wide open whenever she sees me.... Arrr... my daughter, I love her doing that so much.

I guess I won't mind doing this mothering job 24 /7 for the rest of my life!

Thai....

Everything is in Thai... including the blogger page! You wanna know why does my previous post looks like an unfinished post??? It is unfinished. It's not supposed to be "published" but to "saved as draft" but all the buttons are in Thai!!!! I can't remember which button to hit, I got the wrong one....

And the comments that I received... sorry guys, I hit the wrong button of "reject" as well I guess... Arghhhhhh geram-nye...

And it is really boringggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!

I will write more when I have the mood! :(
