Little Miss Vain

My soon to be 4-year-old girl is very into putting on color on herself. :D

Got this lip gloss palette for her from Sephora. The lip gloss quality seems fine and the design is absolutely cute for girls! She loves it so so much. :) mummy gets to share too! hehe

My little fairy...

Naomi has a wonderful time in Melbourne and she knows her favorite show(nowadays) The Fairies, is from Australia. Well, being a 3+, she still believe in all these lar.

So, this mummy went all out to look for these Fairies' merchandise pulak. And I got her favorite character in Fairies, Harmony, the purple fairy. And this costume keeps her all day in front of the tv dancing with them. mummy can go online when little one is asleep. Muahahahaha

Aussie...

Leah and Naomi have no problem adapt to the new environment, and their biological clock just adjusted in 1 day. Me, until today still couldn't sleep at night and can't get up in the morning. Australia is 3 hour ahead of Malaysia. I was a night owl back in Malaysia, so... very teruk for me. We will be here for another 2 months, hopefully by the time we got back to Malaysia, these kids will adjust back. :)

Melbourne is a very nice place to stay, no doubt. However, if people like me, not earning Australian and spending here in Australia make me think 3 times because everything x 3. That make shopping a bit "no kick"... But then I had to get Naomi a new pair of shoes because she said her shoes made her feet sore. My biggest mistake was letting her choose her own shoes because she picked the light up shoes which cost me AUD80! Naomi is not a girl that would cry when I say no to what she wants. But she wanted it so much that she almost want to cry when I asked her to pick others. So I gave in. Soft hearted mummy....

Belated Xmas gift...

Well, naomi told Santa her 3 wishes last Christmas, and only one granted because the other 2 were late.....

She specifically asked for a pink teddy bear, a dora kitchen set, and a dora dresser. So this mummy actually went all out to get these for her. However, the dora sets could only be found in US, so I got my friend to send them over for me (thanks dear! ) kind of last minute. The shipment was delayed due to the busy month and it finally arrived today.

Naomi got her pink teddy bear on Xmas day but she was quite disappointed about the sets. So I made up a story saying that Santa accidentally broke the Dora sets and has to send them back for the elves to repair. She believed everything mama said ok? hehhehe She has never forgotten about the sets, always asking me when would Santa send them to her...

So when she opened up the the Dora Kitchen, she was so happy and was playing with it the whole afternoon! Of course mummy is the happiest person to see her girl being so delighted. :) and for the dresser, open tomorrow... hehehe

Me and my buggies....

Yes, I am thinking about more strollers.

These few days going out with 2 kids myself is getting tougher as Naomi demands to sit on stroller. I have only 2 hands, pushing a pram with Leah in it, how to push another one??? And having 2 strollers in my trunk is really space consuming. So, here I am, looking for something light and easy...

At first I was thinking about a buggy board, to be attached on the travel system that I am using right now, so Naomi could just hop on whenever she feels tired of walking. When I went to the shop to try out the installation, I just realised it cannot be fixed on Peg perego Aria OH. And when I come to think of it, this idea is still not good enough if we need to go for long hour outing. So I decided to look for double stroller and the front-back type.

First thing that come to my mine is this, Phil & Ted Vibe with double kit. This thing is light, only 22 pounds. which is almost the same as my Mclaren Techno XT. And best of all, the double kit can be folded together!! how wonderful. However, it's really expensive and the wheels are air pumped, every few days you will have to check if you have a flat-wheeled stroller. If the wheels punctured, sorry lor, you can't find any replacement in Malaysia. But the look is really yummy.....

After reading lots of negative comments on P&T, I hesitate.... and went on to check on others. I found one Sit and Stand double stroller which is called Joovy Caboose Ultra Light. It has to be the perfect stroller for a baby and a toddler. Toddler can either choose to sit on a small padded seat or stand. And the wonderful thing about it is, it can fit most of the major brand baby car seat! However, the look is a bit not-so-chic lar. Not available in Malaysia though....

And lastly, I found this on TaoBao China.... good idea? Not much of info and it is not that cheap though. It is about RM500++

Which one will you go for?

Xmas Xmas Xmas....

It's the happiest month of the year! DECEMBER! It means Christmas is near and presents presents presents. Well, it's not as excited anymore because nowadays I have to buy lots of presents instead of receiving lots of presents. However, I still love Christmas atmosphere. So peaceful.

I brought Naomi to a few malls to see the Christmas decoration and of course, to meet Santa. So far we have seen Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion, Ikano, The Curve.

The Santa from Pavilion looks a lot like those from the hallmark card. hehehe. more real. And Naomi actually told "Santa" her wish for Christmas Presents... faint, and I have to start looking for them now. Barbie and room sets and Dora talking kitchen (this one die liao, have to order from US). Sigh... everything for my girls now.

Let me upload some pictures from Pavilion.

At Pavilion, you need to pay RM10 in order to take picture with Santa, but the RM10 will go into Charity, and you get a free 4R picture. :)

Kai kai ...

So we went kai kai in Nan Shan Coastal City yesterday. It is a very nice mall to walk around, but too bad they don't have a place like Kidsport & Gym there. Or else, I will go there very very very often. There's a jusco there as well, quite a good selection of imported food from Japan. However, I couldn't find safety gate here, saw it in Ikea but it needs to be drilled which I am not sure the landlord will be comfortable about it. So I will need to find something like Safety 1st which only use pressure.

And today, we went out again. We went to Central Walk in Futian. And here, I found a playland here which Naomi likes to go. Though this mall is not as great as Coastal City (my opinion), but at least it has a place where Naomi enjoy herself very much.

My shopaholic brat...

Naomi is very picky on clothes, food, everything....

She sometimes choose her own clothes, her shoes to wear, her book to read, her DVD to watch.... And today we went to Ikano and mum thought Croc's shoes are pretty comfy, so we went in to get her a pair.

Naomi saw a pair of Dora shoes on the shelve and insisted to put them on. And so I did, oh, that was a wrong move. She didn't want to take it off anymore!!! So I ended up paying for the expensive Croc shoes for her. And she was so happy with the shoes and refused to take it off after we got home.

Gosh, what a daughter have I gotten myself?

Spoiled... temptation....

I had to pay for an ugly bracelet that cost RM12.90 just because Naomi didn't want to put it back to the rack. And she gave it to another girl who's on the swing after 15 mins to trade for the swing.... *faint*

My parents totally, completely indulged me when I was little. My dad would buy me most of the things I want(not need) with no question asked. And now, I find myself doing the same thing for Naomi as well! And truly I knew she doesn't need them, like those toys, clothes, or whatever she picked up in a toy shop.

I was spoiled, and I am repeating the process of spoiling my own. We went shopping for another kid's present and we normally ended up with something else for my lil one. I am started to worry that in the future, my girl won't take no for an answer. I seriously don't want her to grow up thinking the whole world owe her a living..... I do really worry.

Now, let me learn; learn to stay away from temtation. I, as a parent have to change the thinking, change the behavior. I'm sure Naomi will adapt faster than me, it is "me", the problem.... Let's pray for Vivian, Amen.

Parcel...

Yeah! Got the parcel today from her. Naomi loves them so so much. Especially the Beepo bear inside the playhouse bag which contained another signing kit. She actually know his name is Beepo....
And those new signing DVDs, Naomi just loves them, kept asking me to repeat the dvd. Naomi will imitate the talking books and speak most of the words! I am glad she learns well....
It is very very pleased to see her progressing so well. But only 1 thing, i think she's in front of the TV too much. Bad credit for mummy.... :(

Naomi's Shoes....

This shopaholic mum has got her daughter tooooooo many shoes. There are another 3 pairs sitting in the drawer because they are still too big for Naomi. I can't help it, they are so cute.

Oooh, I guess I really have to stop buying shoes for Naomi.... I do hope Papa Sze won't read this post, don't know how would he react. Like mother like daughter?

My very first yummy mummy's day...

Yeeeap. Papa Sze kept his promise, he brought me for shopping on mother's day. Seems like Thai people don't really celebrate Mother's day. There's not even 1 thing about mother's day at all... or maybe it's not the 2nd Sunday of May...

Papa Sze was so nice that he even took Naomi out for a walk and let me enjoyed a good, quiet massage in the hotel room... No wonder I married this man. He can be very sweet sometimes.

Naomi's best present on mother's day for me was, she slept really long that day, she woke up at 9am instead of 7am! And I got the extra sleep too... how sweet????

And we had really good buffet for dinner... Ok, I really have forgotten about the whole diet thing... Guess I need to pray even harder for the power and strength to resist good food....

Kai kai(shopping) day....

Weekend, yeahhhhh..... oh, before I start blabbing, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all lovely mummies out there. This is my first mummy's day. So far, no present, no carnation, no card, nothing like what I expected. Oh no, rephrase, I should have expected it, Papa Sze is not very into whatever days, even anniversaries also he wouldn't remember; but he is very good that if I demand for presents... he will give(erm, not that he has a choice, I got his supplementary card anyway... hehehe) Well, well, he promised to take me out later though, I'll keep my finger cross...

Yesterday we went out kai kai, with 2 of Papa Sze's thai friends. We went to the first mall called "Platinum" and trust me, nothing is platinum in there. It is very similar to the Fashion Mall in DongGuan, GuangZhou. All about fashion clothes, jeans, bags, shoes and lingerie. Cheap but too bad I am still at my post-natal shape. Didn't get anything for myself. Er, yeah, I bought alarm clock, I know, of all the things...

After that, we went to this very nice mall called "Siam Paragon", this mall is in between Starhill and Lot10 type. Pretty nice. But I only shopped for baby clothes and stuff. I found that their toys and stuff are much expensive compared to Malaysia. And real cars are much cheaper... The Mclaren Techno XT stroller is selling at 13,900Baht(about RM1400) while Malaysia is selling at RM999 only. Big difference. So I only got some clothes for Naomi.

And we had big dinner at one of the restaurant near to our hotel. It's reeeally good for the Tom-yum and garlic crab, too bad I was carrying Naomi and didn't get to take picture... And most important this is, CHEAP! We had crab, tomyum prawn, fried rice, steam groupa fish, stir fried vege, bottomless chrysanthenum tea..... total bill was only RM190. The portion are so generous that 4 of us couldn't finish everything. I though I should come here to Bangkok and stick to my diet plan, HAHA, in my dream....

Shopping....

Ok, the small small icons are still here....

Hubby, papa Sze, is a person who hate shopping more than anything else in the world. Everytime he accompany me to mall, he will ask me what I need before we leave home, and when we reach the mall, I can only look for the things i mentioned, not other things, or his face will turn charcoal colour. So I normally do shopping alone.

Papa Sze is now in Bangkok, yeah, shopping heaven! I thought he'd be hiding in his hotel room all the time as usual. This time round, he actually went out to Chatuchak Market, twice, yes, you hear me right, 2 times, to buy dresses for his baby girl, Naomi. And he actually told me "Honey, I never know shopping for daughter is so much fun!" And when I asked if there's anything for me, the answer was "arr.....er.... Isn't Naomi our priority now?" D*mn, I hate it when he's right. And he actually bought 10 dresses for Naomi.

Too bad I can't be with him there for his Bangkok project, Naomi is only 3 months plus, too small to walk around in the biggest market with a prem or sling. It's just too hot for the weather.

Com'on Naomi baby, fast fast grow up and go shopping with mummy! You will love it!
